I was very needy lacking a lot of things in my house but this money has helped me a lot

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
the moment i received my transfer i was very happy because i knew my house will be renovated and i will have food at home.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
my house was in a very bad state, one wall collapsed sometime back but i did not have money to renovate the house. when i received my transfer i renovated my house and right now am staying in a decent house . i also did not have food at home but now i have bought enough food for my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
when i received my transfer i bought materials for renovating my house since one of the walls of my house collapsed. secondly i bought food because i didn't have food at home. the remaining amount was used to buy mattress, blankets, fertilizer and other basic needs.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am really grateful for the program. The program will enable me to buy livestocks, maize and to renovate my house. I really want to have a nice house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The household is always happy when we have lunch.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main problem i continuosly face is hunger. We usually lack money to buy food.
