How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal before receiving the transfer was to build my house. Building a house will reduce a cost of living and improve our standard of living.

GiveDirectly had done very well for me and my family. I owned a house now because of GiveDirectly intervention. GiveDirectly had not done anything wrong.

I have spent my recent transfer on building house. I have been living in a broken and unfinished house. The intervention of GiveDirectly had enable me to built a house for my family and added additional values to my life.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The house i have now cannot accommodate my entire family. I have been planning to build a bigger and decent house that will accommodate my entire family but due to lack of finance, it has been difficult for me to do that. When i receive this transfer, i will use it to build a decent and bigger house that will accommodate my entire family. I will rent the old house out. The rental fees will be used to pay my children school fees and take care of our daily needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought joy and happiness to us is the good health of our children. Though we are going through hardship, but the fact that we are not sick, it gives us joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenges iam facing currently is lack of food to feed my family. When we make farm, we highly get good yield. As a result, what we get from the harvest can only carry us for a short period of time. Moreover, it is difficult to get money. Right now my family is going through hard times because my husband who is the bread winner has not been well for the past two weeks. Even the house we have been thinking about building is difficult due to lack of money.
