How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I didn't developed a new goal with my last transfer. I bought additional materials for the new house and paid my children school fees. My life have improved through the money i received from givedirectly. The way i was suffering to support my family until givedirectly came in to my life and give me money which have changed.Thanks to givedirectly for the money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I appreciate all what Givedirectly did for me. All the process was fair.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With the last transfer, my life is now better than before. I paid my children school fees, food and saved the balance money to sustain my family when Givedirectly shall have left.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My first transfer was spent on building materials and paid for two half bags of rice for the family. Life have been very stressful with me. Farming had been my source of livelihood and couldn't generated much cash to fully support the family and even to a build decent sleeping place until GiveDirectly came into my life. Thanks for the money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well because since I received the money, there always happiness in my household. Every process went well.

Through the transfer, i bought some building materials like Zinc, nails and half bags of rice for the family. Thanks to GiveDirectly for giving me money to improved my life.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in my village going on my farm early morning when I heard people shouting that givedirectly has sent our money. I stopped and when at the network areas to check if I have received mine, luckily for me I saw a huge amount of money in it. I was very much happy and rejoicing. I was happy because that money saved my life, I was very sick and needed treatment to take, but I never had money to go to the hospital. As soon as I received the money I when for treatment right away. I am so happy that I was enrolled on this program. Many thanks to Givedirectly for saving my life.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is I'm able to buy to provide medical treatment for myself. I am also able to provide food for my family. Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support

When withdraw the money I was able to paid my hospital bulls and buy enough medicine for myself. I also bought one (1) bundle of zinc to start my building project. I bought enough foodstuff for my family and I.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"In 2010, I left school and returned from Monrovia with the hope of working and making more money on the newly open Gold camp in this village. Things didn't go as planned, the Gold camp is gradually closing up and life is becoming more difficult. When I received this money from GiveDirectly I will used it to build my house, send my children to school start my business. "
What is the happiest part of your day?
"I have been hearing about the good work that GiveDirectly is carrying out in other villages and towns, the present of GiveDirectly in our village today has brought me great joy. "
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Since my returned to this village in 2010 life has not been easy, I came with the hope of working and making more money on the newly open Gold camp in this village but sadly though things didn't go as planned. I'm now a father of two children of which I can bearly support. I want to build my house but don't have the money to do that presently. The payment of my son school fees is a major challenge for me."
