How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would have been very sad because I would have been in poverty. Now I am very happy because I am able to buy food on my own using the money that I received.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did a good job because most of us were suffering due to poverty but now we are able to buy food and build houses because of the work that this organisation is doing.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy door frames and window frames because I plan in building a house. I kept some of the money so that I can use it to buy bricks for building my house.
