How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had never received the transfers I would have had a lot of problems. It is a real struggle for me to get food for my family so the fact that we have food it covers most of the problems I had. And now building a house my family will get to sleep in a nice house, all of these things happened because of the transfers received.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD does everything well, everything they said happened and it is very rare to get organizations to follow through with their word. I am very thankful.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the transfers on building a house so that meant that I had to get bricks made buys doors and pay builders. I also spent it on food, furniture and blankets.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This transfer gives me an opportunity to feed my family. I don't have alot of money to be able to buy all the things my family needs. My roof is thatched and I experience alot of difficulty during the rainy season so I can use this money to buy iron sheets to fix my roof. I can also use this money to start small businesses
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I'm doing small jobs and earning money and I can buy food for my family
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I've faced in my life is being poor and not being able to provide for my family or having enough food to eat. It's very difficult to get fertiliser because I don't have money and we are unable to have enough food
