How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was because I managed to clear school fees for my child in secondary school. I had been having a hard time paying his school fees because I did not have a reliable source of income. I used my transfer to clear his school fees arrears. I also bought a second-hand motorcycle which my husband has been using to fetch for the family. The motorcycle has also been helping us with transportation especially during harvesting season to ferry the harvested crops home or to the market.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goals are to plaster my house to look better. I am also planning to buy comfortable seats to fill my living room. This will give me more comfort and my visitors can feel at home.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer was to take my son to the hospital. He had been suffering from ulcers and had poor vision. He is now having a pair of reading glasses which I bought him using the transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have started up as a small scale business where I will be selling vegetables. This will earn me additional income thus will be able to meet most of my household's needs such as buying food, paying school fees for my children as well as addressing any financial emergencies that might occur.

How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I hope that in the next six months,my business will be flourishing and I will be able to stop depending on my relatives and husband for every monetary need.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had not receive the money from GD,my son would still either be at home due to lack of school fees or I would be up to my neck in debts after borrowing money to pay my son's school fees.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I am planning to start a grocery business and buy livestock with my next transfer. This will give me some security in terms of raising money for certain important needs such as school fees and food.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face is lack of money to pay school fees for my three children who are in secondary school. If I am unable to raise the required fees they may have to defer their studies.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning. This is because the Lord has blessed me and I am able to live one more day.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy cement, sand, timber and nails which I will use to repair my dilapidated house. I also plan on saving part of the transfers in order to establish a grocery store in my village.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement was being able to enroll my son in a secondary school. It was difficult raising the required fees but after toiling really hard on my farm I was able to get a sizable harvest which I then sold and paid school fees for him.
