How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Since I started receiving transfers from GiveDirectly, Excitingly, my life and that of my six children had been changing gradually. Their school fees and everything concerning their well being had been coming from GiveDirectly transfers lately using my first two transfers. However, with my third transfer, I used the money and started a coconuts business to financially empower myself. And since then, the income had been doing a great job for my family. Therefore, with my recent transfer my goal is to continue with my business by adding the quantity up. With that said, I used most of my money and bought thirty bags of dried coconuts and will soon be taking it to bigger markets for sale. Moreover, the balance money was used to pay my children's final school fees for the year.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Firstly, I will appreciate GiveDirectly for this life changing opportunity brought to us the needy. There were times I felt like giving up due to lack of support for my children and I. Excitingly, due to the farsightedness and humanitarian heart of GiveDirectly for the needy they came and had changed our lives tremendously. From the beginning of this program until now they have shown a great level of professionalism and transparency in reaching out to us the beneficiaries. I am forever grateful. However, in my judgement I have not seen or heard anything wrong done by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
After receiving my transfers from GiveDirectly, with my dream of establishing a business that will help sustain my family and I, now that GiveDirectly had completed their promised transfers to us, I used some of my third transfer and started a little coconuts business staring with few bags of dried coconuts. Now with my recent transfer, I used most of the money and bought thirty bags of coconuts for sale. Finally, the balance money was used to pay my children's final tuition for the school year. Hopefully, with the income from my business I will now be able to fully support my children in school and take care of their daily needs, things that was very difficult for me to do for my children. I am very excited to be a beneficiaries of this unique financial opportunity. All thanks to GiveDirectly for this great help.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
" The joy that filled my heart upon receiving this money was too heavy that I could not control it at first. I was so happy to the extend that I forgot to eat that very day until night fell. When the first GiveDirectly people told me that I was going to receive such huge amount of money without working for it, It was unreal to me, I must admit. But now I am so happy that came as they promised me. I look forward to receiving the rest and to do what I have planned to do".
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
"The biggest difference in my life is total satisfaction and relation. You may not know what it is to live in a family's house with many different households. It has been rocky. It got to be Gos that I withstood it till this blessing located me. Besides, my daughter needs not to wait for a longer time anymore to start school like it has used to be the case when I had not been placed on this program".
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
" I am planning to do two important things with my first transfer. That's why I have not rushed to withdraw it when the mobile agents are still overcharging. I have planned to pay my daughter school fees from this this first transfer. The second thing I have planned to do is to buy a bundle of zinc to build my own house. I have been living in my relative's house and I know that this is going to be overed soon".
