Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My goal for the next four months is to start a small business of selling cereals. Due to my health condition, I am no longer in a position to handle farm work. Cereals business is very suitable to me at the moment hence at the end of the day, I will have some daily income to for my household use as well as to pay labourers working in my farm.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I am now happier because my family no longer strains to put food to the table as compared to before. Apart from that, I managed to purchase a dairy cow and a calf hence the burden of purchasing milk for my household consumption is over
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I believe my life will positively change in the next six months because my income sources will have increased. This is through the business I am planning to initiate as well as from the proceeds I expect to get from my farm. I also believe my health will improve considering I will no longer involve myself in any kind of farm work. Generally, I believe my family wellbeing will greatly change.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Following the chest complications that I developed in 1998, I have been forced to do limited tasks - hence, I can hardly get enough for my family because I rely mainly on casual labor. My doctor asked me to avoid heavy jobs. Subsequently, we could forego some meals and other basic needs due to inadequate labor.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when returning from my casual work with some income. This means that my family can buy some food and other basic stuffs. Hence, I feel like a responsible mother.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to use my transfer on leasing some land for crop farming
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
In 1996, I leased some land and planted maize. Fortunately, I realized a good harvest which enabled me to buy a cow. In 1998, I sold the only cow to pay my hospital bill. I find that as the greatest achievement I am proudest of because I attained quality medical attention which could otherwise be unaffordable given the poor financial condition of my family.
