How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I live a stress free life because I own land and livestock. A day never passes without me testifying to some one about the good things that the GiveDirectly transfers have done. I used to be a laughing stock in my community because I was very poor. This left me in stress and it almost claimed my life because I never knew peace in my life. In addition, the land I lived in was for my in law but my self esteem has been restored when I bought my own land.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has improved my standard of living with the unconditional cash transfer it gave me. However, I haven't seen anything bad that it has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to buy livestock and household goods such as utensils, clothing among others.
