What did you spend your third transfer on?
I bought cement, door frame and door, primer, six liters of paint, and other building materials now I have a big house and I will not worry about plastering with cow dung, my last transfer was used mostly in building.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on cementing my house into a semi- permanent house 26,700 KES from mud one .I fixed two steel windows 4600 KES . I bought a bag of maize for my family's consumption 5000 KES and household expenditures. I also paid school fees for my two children in high school 10000 KES.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have manged to cement my house and now I no longer face challenges such as frequent smearing of my previous mud house for maintenance purposes mainly on rainy seasons as rain could rain on the muddy wall of the house hence leading cracks and some part of the wall to falling off.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying a table 1800 KES and six cushions for my chairs 3600 KES . I also paid school fees for my child who is in high school fee 3500 KES and bought flour a half bale 720 KES.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I had no money on that day and at the same time my child was sent home for school fees and upon seeing the message verifying to me that I had received money from GiveDirectly, I felt relieved and stress-free since I was assured of solving most of my pending projects with the money.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Paying school fee's is a hustle because as a ECD teacher I am not being paid well at times the pay also delays.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Afternoon's makes me happy because I get to interact with other women, from that I make right choices on how to survive with the little that I earn.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
The money will mean a lot to me because I will now move from a mud house to one that is cemented.
