What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 190,000 UGX on purchasing building materials, and 200,000 UGX on paying the builders. I bought a cow worth 320,000 UGX and some beddings at 80,000 UGX, I also provided my two children with 80,000 UGX for their pocket money, then the balance I spent it on buying household items and buying food for my family since I am a widow.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The only good thing that givedirectly has done is that it gave me money that enabled me to construct a good iron roofed house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Had I not received the cash transfer from givedirectly , I would have died of hunger. I thank givedirectly for uplifting me from poverty. I am now a better person with a decent home and living a befitting lifestyle.

I also sleep well on a mattress and cover myself with a bedsheet, but previously I was sleeping uncomfortably on a mat and used torn bedsheets for covering myself.
