What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy an ox and agricultural in puts like an ox plough. I used part of it to cover the funeral expenses for our late child.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well in enabling me regain ownership of the acres of land my late husband had given as collateral for the debt he collected. However, there is completely nothing bad that GiveDirectly has done.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has greatly improved in that, I repossessed three acres of land that were in the hands of the creditor. Previously, I had one acre of land and had to rent more which was difficult since I had no source of income.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for paying off a debt worth UGX 1,700,000 that I got for my children's school fees. This enabled me get back my 4 acres land that acted as security.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The ululations of my neighbors woke me up at 6:00 AM, I got my phone and rushed to my son to check for me. when he notified me that I have received the money, I became very happy because I knew that the debt burden was going to be cleared at once.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have got back my four acres of land that I'am intending to cultivate in time, in so doing this will increase my yield production.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is my health I not ok. I am diagnosed with pressure and I am asthmatic
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning ,when I wake up healthy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means buying oxen for ploughing and an ox-plough. I would also like to purchase a bicycle for ferying water from the borehole since its very far.
