How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Since I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly, I immediately started a little business. And since then I have been investing almost all my transfers into the business with just little spend on other family expenses. Now with my recent transfer, I have decided to built a new house. For this reason I used some of the money and bought three bundles of zinc with other building materials.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Words are inadequate to express what GiveDirectly had done for us the needy. My life right now is far better than yesterday when GiveDirectly had not reached our community. GiveDirectly had brought so much financial relieved to me that I am now a proud and independent woman. Therefore, I will forever be grateful to them. However, with truth be told I have not seen any wrong done by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
After receiving my recent transfer, I have now decided to built a new house now that I have my own business. With that said I used some of my recent transfer and bought three bundles of zinc and other building materials such as zinc nails and planks. However the remaining money was spend on other household expenses. I am very excited with the level of progress made in my life with the help of GiveDirectly financial assistance.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am a farmer with two children. I'm living in my mother in law's house alone with my children. Providing daily meals for my family have been very much difficult for me. My plans have been to build myself a decent house that will accommodate my family and I and send my children to school. Due to the lack of finance, I could not achieve my plans. When I started receiving my transfers from GiveDirectly, I was so much happy because I believe that with this transfer from GiveDirectly, I will be able to achieve my dreams to have a better future for myself and my children.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I'm just very much grateful for the help that GiveDirectly have given me. Without GiveDirectly, I would not have been able to have gotten such amount of money to build myself a house to stay in with my kids. In my opinion about what is not done well by GiveDirectly, I have not seen anything. GiveDirectly have did well by determining their eligibility during the enrolment process on the program.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I receive my recent transfer from GiveDirectly, I decided to divide it into three different portions. The first and second portion of the transfer that I received recently was used to buy mattress and two bundles of zinc because I have been sleeping on a very flat bed almost like on the floor and I have also been living in my mother in law's home. The other portion of the transfer, I spend it on clothes and food because feeding my kids on time have been so difficult for me and their wearing are all deplorable and damaged.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
From the day I started receiving transfers from GiveDirectly, my dream had been to built a new house for my kids and I. For the passed years, this dream couldn't materialize because the little earnings from the sale of garie was never enough to to undertake any project. On that note, I have come up with any new goal until I see my dream of building a new house come to pass. With that said, I used a portion of my transfer and bought the remaining one bundle of zinc left. Moreover, I used some of the money and paid my two kids tuition fees. Finally, remaining money was spend on buying food items for my family. Thanks to GiveDirectly, that my life is taking a new and positive trend.
