How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has really changed with the money I received, I now have enough food for my family and will soon have a proper house to live in.

The way Givedirectly is operating everything is just fine. They choose everyone into their program with no form of discrimination.

I have used the money I received to buy Iron sheets and cement for renovating my house and I used some of the money to buy clothes for my family and I saved the remaining money

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy because i had many problems now i most of them are rectified. Imagine i was dancing at a song that i came across along the road.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life is very changed, January used to be a hard month for most of us, you would easily notice from a distance skin shining with hungry blood vessels that ete couple of days ago. But now every one is very happy.

I leave in a very leaking house so i decided to buy iron sheets to rebuild another proper house, i bought mattress blankets bed and food. I also bought fertiliser for my farm

I'm grateful for the money...it means helping us to sustain our household by buying iron sheets and other necessities such as beddings and clothes
