What does receiving this money mean to you?
I live in a house that have all the rooms occupied with different family members. Sometimes when visitors come to me and decide to pass the night or spend more time with me, I can be really embarrassed because I don't have any other place to lodge them. When I get the transfer, I will like to build a house for myself. When I have a house for myself, I will be happy and will always have more rooms to accommodate strangers and visitors.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, what makes me happy is when some of my community members provided clothes and rice for me. This made me happy because I felt like other people also cared for me. Knowing that I would have food to eat and clothes to wear, I felt so happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Within this town, there are few challenges that I face. Presently, I don't have anything for myself, especially clothes. To get clothes to put on, people will have to give me some of their old clothes to wear before I can get something to put on. Another major challenge is in getting food. Because I don't have a man in my life, getting food is hectic for me. I have a small farm where I can plant rice and other vegetables. Sometimes, I will have to pay other community members to help me to work on my farm. If I don't have the money to pay them, they will not do my work and I will be forced to do it on my own, which can hinder my harvest, thus resulting in my food finishing sooner.
