I would still be living a life of stress in terms of struggling to buy food for my family and renovating my house

Givedrectly is doing a great job since before you came to our community we were living in poverty but now our lives have changed after receiving the transfer

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so excited when I got the transfer text message i coudn't believe it i was over the moon and till now I'm still grateful to give directly for this huge favour.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The difference now is that we are living happily this is ao because we have a proper place to sleep on,we have food in our household and my wife was sick but now i managed to cover the hospital bills and she is alright.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
All along I have been wanting to build a house,so as soon as i got the transfer i used part of it to buy house building accessories such as Iron sheets,flames,i also used another part of the transfer to buy a 6 inch double matress I did this because i didn't have a comfortable place to sleep on i also bought a bicycle,2 bags of maize and I paid hospital bills for my wife.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My house is thatched with grass so I will use the money to buy iron sheets to use a new roof for my house. I have also been sleeping on a mat so I will use the money to buy a matress.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Am happy when I have enough food to eat.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I find it hard to find food on a daily basis.
