I have been able to buy household items like furniture which I did not have before, I invested more money into my produce and buying business. Am now able to buy sugar and eat meat which never used to happen. I bought iron sheets and now putting up a new kitchen.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD does well everything. I have not seen anything negative about GD and am so happy with the way they work and handle me as a recipient.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life was losing my brother because he left behind orphans and i had to assume responsibility over them since there was no one else to. This wasn't and still isn't an easy task because our financial struggle only increased since we(my husband and i) have to provide for both our biological children and the orphans left behind.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when having lunch with my family because there are days when we fail to get what to eat.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
To me, receiving this money means securing for my children's future since I plan on buying them assets like land, a cow and also renovating our house so that they have something valuable they own and also so that we live a descent life.
