What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy steel door and steel windows which I have fixed on my house. I hired a plot for rice farming and the remaining amount, I have use to restock my cereals business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not be living in a more spacious house than the one am living in which is more spacious and also I would not bought a steel door to enhance the security of my house. Thank you GD for the transfer
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers which is sent to Mpesa account hence nobody can know that the money has been sent thus making it very secretive. I have not seen anything that GD has not done well in our community. I have not seen anything that GD has not done well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer lease a piece of land that I have used grow rice. I am hopeful that I will get some good harvest when the harvesting season comes. I also spent some of the transfer to buy building materials I used to build a new house. I am now in a very nice house compared to the one I used to stay in previously.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is seeing my farm do well. I am hopeful that I will be able to get some good harvest that will give me more income.

I have planned to build a better and permanent house for my family.

My proudest achievement is that I started life in a very bad house but over the years I have been able to improve it. I have also managed to buy a few cows.

My biggest hardship was losing my husband who was our breadwinner and we have not been able to get back on our feet up to now.

The happiest part of my day is when I sell my vegetables in the market.
