How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I just want to say thank you to Givedirectly for their support. Givedirectly has done very well in my life. Givedirectly has changed my life as well. My plan was to build a new house in my village, givedirectly make it possible for for me. So I'm grateful.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of our village. Givedirectly was able to enrolled almost the entire village. Givedirectly has also changed our entire village with so many new houses. Givedirectly has done everything well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I withdraw my money, I bought 4 bundles of Zinc. I also bought 10begs of cement to plaster my house. I used parts of my transfer to paid my children school fees. I also bought enough foodstuff for my family.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Firstly I want say thank you to Givedirectly for their support, my new goals is to extend my building, because the house I'm living in right now is our family house. Its been my plan to build my own house in my village. But my income was very low to accomplish that. I'm a farmer. I will go on my farm cut Palm and sale but still the money was not been sufficient to build my house. To even get money to paid my children school fees used to be very difficult for me. But when I started receiving money from givedirectly, my life began to change, and my house project is ongoing right now. I'm so thankful to GiveDirectly for their support.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly has done very well in my life and that of our village, Givedirectly give me phone, sim card and money that I'm so happy for, givedirectly has changed our entire village with so many new houses. With the support from givedirectly I'm building my own house, there's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my transfer, I bought 3 bundle of zinc that cost 30,000LD. I also bought few sticks that I paid 3,500$ for. I bought enough food for my family, the balance money I was able to paid the workmanship to start my building project.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan has been to improve my house. I live in a house that is roof with grass thatch. The little money I earn from my crops is not sufficient to buy zinc. This money is a complete blessing for me. I used my previous transfers to buy zinc and nails. With this transfer, I bought additional zinc, and I want to use some to pay the engineer who will renovate my house. I hope to complete that next month. I appreciate GiveDirectly for this great help.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing well by giving us money to improve our lives from poverty. GiveDirectly program is corruption free. The staff are kind to people. In my opinion, GiveDirectly is doing everything well.

I spent my transfers on znic and paying the engineer who will construct my building. It has been my plan to improve my house, but I couldn't earn much money from selling the crops from my farm. GiveDirectly transfer is about to transform my life.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received my first transfer i was really happy,because it has been very difficult for me. I was on my way to the farm when I received this money from GiveDirectly. I came back in the town to tell my family about the money that i received from GiveDirectly. My family and i beginning to dance and signing for this great opportunity. I'm now thinking about building a house for my children. My family can now eat good food on time and my children are now in schools. I even bought all of my children Christmas clothes and food for the house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I'm very thankful to GiveDirectly for their support towards me as a poor person. I was only living on farming to survive not even thinking of building a new house. I'm now thinking about building a house for my children and start a small business. Sometime for me to even provide for my children it was not easy for me. I'm so happy about this programs that GiveDirectly brought to us in Rivercesse. I was not able to build a new house more especially zinc and cement house. With the help of GiveDirectly I'm now thinking about building a house for my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The most recent transfer that I just received from GiveDirectly programs. I really went to finish this my house and focus a business that will help sustain my family. I even bought two more bundles of zinc and cement to finish my house. I'm going to paid the guys who going to do my work this fews days. I bought some food for the house for this Christmas season. We are all happy in this home because of what GiveDirectly has done for us. I'm now going to be living in zinc and cement house i and my family.

I will buy zinc to fix the house and mattress for the family. I will also get involve with small business.

When I heard about GiveDirectly coming, I was so happy because when I get the money, I will build my house and get other things for myself.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The problem I am facing now, is that I want to go mechanical school to live a better life but there is no money.
