Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have been a taxi conductor. When I received the cash transfer, I thought it wise to spend part of it to complete the purchase of a motor vehicle. This vehicle is being used on a special hire basis and it earns me daily income. I am delighted that the car will earn me additional income besides my occupation.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I heard the phone buzzing and when I checked the message. It showed that I had received UGX1730250 from GiveDirectly. I was very happy and excited at that moment.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX190000 to process my driving permit and UGX1500000 was added onto the payment of a motor vehicle.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will fulfil my wish of building an iron sheet roofed house. I stay in my brother's home and the space is very small thus there is less comfort with the family. I will get comfort in my house with the family members after contrusting it.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My favourite part of the day is evening hours because I will be resting after struggling on how to make life possible. I chat with friends as they give me advices on how to manage life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is lack of money to support my family. I grew up as an Orphan, life has never been easy to manage. My life is full of gambles.
