Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very excited when i got the transfer message even though i knew about the programme i never anticipated anything because i thought there might be some gaming since i have never seen an organisation giving out so much cash like that.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The major difference ever sinc i got the transfer is that as a family we have been eating healthy and proper foods,my children are very happy right now because for the past years we used to be having one or two meals per day,but with the coming in of GiveDirectly I'm proud to announce that we have been having breakfast as well. I really appreciate everything that the organizations is doing and continue with the good work.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Heartly speaking the biggest challenge we constantly face is hunger,so when i got the transfer the first thing i thought of is adding extra bags of maize to the one's i already have so that we should have adequate food, secondly i bought 2 bags of fertiliser I'm a small farmer by the way,i have also bought few ironsheet which i would love to use in improving my house. I have a daughter who is now in secondary school and she is about to write her Malawi School Leaving Certificate Examination come 2022 ,so i have decided to keep the remaining amount for her school fees.
