What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on completion of building for a 3-room house (45,100 KES) which I started using the second transfer.. Housing was a matter of urgency since our previous grass-thatched house used to leak during rainy season to the extent I had to cover the children using a canvas at night, and to the extent they could not go to school the following morning because their books would be dripping wet! Many times I felt like giving up, thank you very much.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on cultivating my farm at 7,000 KES, bought building materials at 26,300 KES, a mattress at 3,500 KES, a sack of maize at 4,900 KES, paid a deposit for solar lamp at 3,500 KES, then used the rest of the cash on little house errands.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I managed to till my farms without begging support from neighbours. Am also having good night sleeps now that I have a new mattress, unlike before when I used sleep on a hard surface. My children are also able to study easily at night with the use of solar lamp, unlike before when they used a tin lamp which could go off due to lack of kerosene and leave them undone.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when preparing meals for my family. At this time we are together in the house.

Receiving this money means I am going to build iron roofed house which is not leaking like this grass thatched house that I own at the moment.
