How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I am able to pay casual labourers to work on my farms as I ventured into large scale farming to help in improving my living standards. To help boost my farming even further, I have made a habit to buy ags of fertilizer to help speed the growth of the maize. When I do this, I am able to get more harvest which helps in generation of income for us and also the provision of daily food as we consume some too. There is always a constant flow of food in my house even if I do not manage to earn any income for the day.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to save more and buy more livestock for rearing as a way of financial security for the family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the fact that I can easily access money even without working extra hard or having to depend so much on my husband to pay for or buy everything. As a mother, I needed to have livestock to help secure my children's future financially so I saved and bought a cow for rearing. With the livestock I believe that when my children join secondary school I can have a fallback plan without having to work twice as much to raise their school fees.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to save and start up a business to help in the generation of more income for my family. I believe that the restaurant business would do my family good in terms of generating daily income to help us improve our living standards. I also anticipate to save and pay school fees for my children so that they can have ample time studying in school.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months ago I had a dream of plastering my house so as to transform it into a semi-permanent structure even though I was not sure whether I could make the dream come true. However, with the help of the transfers from GD, I managed to make the dreams come true because Ibouhgta few bags of cement and sand which made the process a success. Apart from that, I also ventured into sheep farming both for commercial and meat purposes.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a goal of opening a shop which I am sure will generate some little cash for me so long as I manage the business effectively. I am trying to get a sustainable business project that will keep me going even during periods when the transfers will have been stopped.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that I have been able to sort out my financial needs very easily unlike the past when I used to struggle so much to meet my daily financial demands. Much of the difference comes from the investments on my farm where in most cases I invest my money on the farm project. For instance, I have been able to cultivate effectively by hiring people who cultivated the land using oxen-plow which makes the work much easier as compared to using a hand held hoe. I have also been buying hybrid seeds and fertilizers which have really helped me in getting a bumper harvest.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have some changes in my life because for one I know that by that time, my business will be up and running effectively so I will be getting profits on a day to day basis. The number of sheep will have also increased and that means in case I run into a financial crisis, then I can easily sell out one or two of them and earn some cash in return.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been able to pay school fees with the transfers which really makes me happy. Before the transfers, my children used to be sent home every month. This is because I was not able to pay their school fees in the time since I would not get much from the farm. I had cultivated my farm for long and the soil was used up to an extent it was not productive anymore. This is the reason why I could not get much from the farm. I am glad about the transfers, I have been able to pay their fees bit by bit and so far I have cleared their fees balances and they have more time to study in school. Their performance has gone up because they don't miss lessons as before. Thanks to GD.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to start a food business. This will help me grow the business to a hotel business which will be my source of income to help me give the best future for my family. I would not want to struggle anymore.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that every month I get money. This has really helped me reduce and pay all my debts. I used to have a lot of debts because I did not have any stable source of income yet my family demands were constant. I used to struggle through farming and partial business but due to my family demands, my business would not survive for long. I would take most of the business money to solve my family issues hence it would collapse anytime. Ever since I started receiving these transfers, I have been able to stabilise the business which is picking up very well and really helping me sustain my family needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I want to buy a cow. This will be an investment for my family and as a remembrance of GD. When the cow gives birth I will be able to sell milk to raise an income to buy food for my family and when I have an emergency in my family, I will sell the cow or its offspring to raise money to solve family financial needs.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months ago, I was really struggling so much when it comes to buying food for the family but right now I always buy food that is enough to take the family throughout the month. In addition to that I get enough cash that I deposit in our table banking group which makes me save in a way.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a plan of buying new seats to use in the house because the ones that I have right now are a bit old worn out. It is always a bit embarrassing welcoming my visitors to have a seat in the old furniture but I know once I get the new ones, then I will never be embarrassed.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The money I have been getting from the organization has been of great help to me because it has enabled me to cement my house both on the interior and exterior section thereby transforming the house from a mud walled house to a semi-permanent house. This has always been a dream but I have not been able to achieve it due to lack of finances.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect a change because my primary aim right now is start a small scale business within the locality. My plan is run a hotel business where I will be selling foodstuffs to my customers at a small fee and in the process ear some profits.
