What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy building materials like timber, steel doors which i have used to fix in my new house. I bought clay to renovate my house and also invested some amount on a cereals business for my wife.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that my children are now in school without asking for help from anybody. I also have livestock and a big house than the one I was living in, all this would not have been possible without the transfer. Thank you GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has uplifted the living standards of the recipients and also asking for help from someone more privileged has reduced because of increased self dependency. I have not seen anything GD did not do well.

I spent my second transfer to construct a new and bigger house as the previous one was old and the walls were already destroyed by rain. I also paid school fees for my child in secondary school so that he can stay in school and attend his classes well.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have been able to construct a bigger house with better roofing and walls. We finding it costly to do constant repairs of the walls in our previous house but now we can save both time and money since we moved into the new house.
