How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am very fortunate that I have constructed a permanent commercial house. More so, I am able to buy food and basic needs as compared to the past when I had no money at my disposal. I had alot of debts that were bothering me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectlt does well to fulfill their promise within the specified time. They do not segregate communities during enrollment. However, the cash transfers are not enough to enable us accomplish our plans. I wish they could add us more cash transfers.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent part of the cash transfer to pay the builders. Then I purchased cement, ring beam rods with the remaining part of the cash transfer.
