How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have got a peace of mind and have owned decent clothes that have made me feel very comfortable when with other people in the community. Am also expecting to construct an iron roofed house which was difficult to build before receiving.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has done well to give me money, and Give Directly has not done any thing bad on my side.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for purchasing clothes at 150,000 ugx, labour for weeding cassava at 133,000 ugx and family up keep at 150,000 ugx. I have not yet spent 1,200,000 ugx but am planning to spend it for buying materials for building an iron roofed house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The clothes that I couldn't wear I can now afford to wear them and move like the rest of the people.

I felt so happy at that moment because I couldn't believe this could happen. It was a great opportunity for me.

Sent his wife 500000 for her business, clothes 200000 kept 1000000 for constructing his house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is means of helping my wife ,to buy school fees for our son. who is in senior two since, I lost my job. she also went a way with the children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during evening time .when I meet my friends and the advice me not to think so much a bout my wife who divorced me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which I face is when I lost my job. it caused separation btween me and my wife untill now.
