How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different from how it was four months ago because I managed to buy most of the things I could afford on my own. I bought uniforms for my children and currently, they go to school looking very neat. They used to have worn out uniforms which made them look very shaggy among their peers. I also have a big iron roofed house which I never imagined of owning.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to plaster my house. I am planning to buy cement, sand and gravel to plaster the floor and walls of my new house. This will make it to last longer and ease the maintenance cost.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life preceding the current transfer is building a new house. I never imagined building a new house because my source of income could not sustain my family as well as allow me to save for buying building materials. I always do farm casual jobs to get income to sustain my family. I am so grateful that Give Directly's transfers enabled me to have a bigger iron roofed house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to buy cows. I am planning to buy a bull and a dairy cow which I will keep as my assets. Having cows will really be resourceful for my farming because I will team them up with my neighbour's bulls to help in ploughing. I will also be able to get milk from my dairy cow once it starts bearing calves.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest differeence in my daily life since I started receiveing the money is that I have hopes of soon having a decent house. This is because I have already bouhght the necessary materials.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have a shinning and recognizable home, not a home that people have nothing to admire in.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different from the way it would have been had I not received the money in that previously I was always worried of how to raise money to build a house but currently the worries are no more since I've already bought all the materials required.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I have a new goal of owning livestock because I have never owned any because I couldn't afford it. Now that I'm expecting money from GD, I'm planning to buy some.
