How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, my new goal is to do business i.e to sell dry goods
My old plan was to use this money to build a house of my own, pay my children school fees but later I decided to start small business with whatever will remain.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly makes you do something for yourself and your family. Now i can even help my children to improve in their studies by employing study class teacher. All these wont be possible if GiveDirectly had not help. I want to say a big thank you to GiveDirectly for empowering me.

I spend most of my recent transfer on paying children balance school fees, i bought zinc, nails and pay workmanship and start a dry goods business.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My house is very old and almost falling to the ground. And I have been selling coal and saving from it to improve my house. But I haven't been able to save enough over the years. Fortunately, I received money from GiveDirectly so I will use it to build a decent house for myself.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly's program that they are doing is a good program that is making people to shine in life; that is so well. And what they are doing not well, I haven't seen it. I love and appreciate them.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received this money, I felt very happy. Because I didn't have a dream of getting this amount of money in my life. I have been longing to build a house for my family and I but I never had the means of getting money to do it. Many thanks to GiveDirectly for giving me the opportunity to handle such an huge amount of money and also for making me happy and proud among others.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Some changes have taken place in my life since I received this money. The relationship with my husband is more stronger now than before. Because the both of us are strongly working together to build our new house. At least I'm going to have my own house to live in soon. The house I'm living in currently is very small and can't accommodate my family and I anymore.

Although I have not used my money yet but I'm intending of building a house for my family and I. I'm now modeling bricks to start soon with my building project in early December. I will start to buy some of the building materials on the 15th of November 2021. I have also negotiated for new house spot for the construction.

"Let me begin by saying thanks to the almighty Allah for life, but the things to bring me joy or happiness hasn't happened yet in my life".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Good sleeping/dwelling place is one of the major challenge me and my family are face with right now. As you can see, we force to manage in this house because we don't have the hand now to build a better house. I'm also so worry about my children education. We have to burn charcoal for survival at the same time Carter for our children school fees.
