What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to buy chairs. Purchased corns for family consumption. Built an iron roofed house. I also settled some debts with the rest of the money.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a house and living together with my siblings. I was living with my grandmother after the demise of my parents while my siblings were staying with other relatives because even our house also went down and had no where to stay but as now, I'm happily living with my brothers together in my new built house as a family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it uplift the livelihood of the poor. I wish GD could continue supporting those who accepted the transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on a mattress (4,000 KES) and clothing (4,000 KES) then the rest on dry corn for food.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I was elated because I had been expecting it from the time GD staff came into my house, and at last here was the fruit of that process.

I have planned to use the first transfer on beddings and food,the second one I will use it to build my own house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I don't have any achievement that I can say,I was left an orphan at a very early age and I have not accomplished anything.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship was losing my parents and I had to take the responsibility of taking care of my remaining six siblings,yet I was in school with no one to support me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of my day is when I go to work and I am able to make money.
