How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that I own aplot of my own which I plan to construct ahouse for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD has done well to directly support us with money because I had never thought I would own aplot of my own and GD has done nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay the remaining balance for my plot which costed me 1,000,000ugx and I paid off my debts with 100,000ugx. I also bought 2 chairs and 2 tables at 240,000ugx. The balance of the money I'm using to cater for household necessities.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that am soon getting my own land where am to establish a home for my family, because am currently renting a house with my family. I have also owned better beddings, kitchen utensils and chairs.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I became happy and I thanked God for Give Directly.

I deposited 1,000,000Ugx to pay for the plot of land that am buying, I bought beddings at 315,000Ugx, a set of tables at 120,000Ugx, plastic chairs at 150,000Ugx and kitchen utensil at 105,000Ugx.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which i faced in my life was the death of my two children at the some year but my husband said that am the one who killed them , this made him to chase me a way from his home .
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is evening especially when i meet with my friends and we start telling long ago stories of our growth time.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving money is a means of relieving me from spending my money to pay monthly house rent. because I will buy my own plot of land with GD money then I put simple house to accommodate my children .
