How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it was four months ago in that I now have water in the house. Previously I had to walk for many kilometers in search of water. This was hectic and time-consuming considering my old age. In addition to that, I'm currently in the process of plastering my house courtesy of the GD money. This will save the stress of looking for cow dung in neighbors home every time for smearing my house so that it could neat.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
For the next four months of my life, I have an additional goal to save the coming transfers so that I can purchase steel windows. Currently, I have wooden windows but they are not safe because they have broken and I'm afraid anyone can break into the house at any time. I'm, therefore, planning to purchase steel windows because they are more secure and durable.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the comfort I feel because I was able to install water in my house. Previously, we could fetch water in a river which is very far from my home. At times I was forced to buy water because I couldn't walk all the way to the river due to my old age. This was expensive on my side because I do not have a reliable source of income. I'm glad through the GD transfers I was able to install water thus I no longer face water challenges.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
The current kitchen I have is dusty and I feel it's risky because our area is prone to jiggers. This puts us in the risk of being affected by jiggers. I, therefore, have the plans to save some of the coming transfers and use them later to purchase sand and cement for plastering the house.

My current house is made of mud and it takes quite a lot of energy to maintain because it is easily destroyed especially when it rains. It also requires constant repairs to keep away the dust. Because of my old age, I am not able to keep up with the maintenance hence the need to plaster the entire house. I have been saving for quite some time now and I wish to continue doing so untill I raise enough money to purchase all the necessary materials for the plastering.
