How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I I'm Planning to save my third and last money to buy my motorcycle, I want to buy that motorbike for traffic, that will enable me provide food for my family and also paid school fees. I'm so happy that I was enrolled on this program. Because my dream has come to passed.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was wanted to open a shop of my own. My entire plan changed when i received my transfer from Givedirectly . I was encourge to build myself a house before starting a business. The courage of building a new house came about, when my close friend build her house with her transfer.

Givedirectly give me free money to improve my life. Givedirectly don't pick and choose amount their recipient's. Givedirectly don't take bribe before putting people on their program. Givedirectly staff don't lie about anything concerning the transfer.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
" I was in bed on a Monday when my phone alarmed. My boyfriend check the massage and it was a massage from Givedirectly office. He shouted! Saying " Rose dancing i starr at him and smile. When i got the good news at that moment, i felt that all my troubles of poverty has come to an end. I almost ran crazy because Givedirectly giving me such amount of money without working or giving something in return is like a dream come true. My family has suffer so much until people called us all sorts of names in this Jamestown village. I am so happy for the great opportunity. Life has been hard for me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since i started receiving money from Givedirectly, my life has completely changed.The biggest difference in my daily life now. I now cooked three times meal for my children which give them so much joy. Before we barely eat rice in a day time. Fufu and a clear pepper soup was the order of the day. I can now afford good medications for my kids. I hardly carry my kids to hospital when they're sick. Because we couldn't afford hospital bills. The government hospital in the next village only give prescription not even a single pills. we couldn't afford to buy drugs from the drug stores, my husband always give the kids herbs for medications whenever they get sick. My husband used to cut palm and take contracts from people before he can put food on our table. My biggest dream is to purchase a plot of land in the capital city of grand bassa and build a house for renting. I thanks Givedirectly for their immense efforts in lifting my family high.

The transfer i received from Givedirectly, part of it was used to buy cement to plaster my house. I used some to purchase enough food for my children. I registered my children and used the balance to start a business. My house has been leaking for the past yeas now that's has been my greatest challenge.
