Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has improved because I acquired a bed and another mattress for my children who now sleeping well as opposed to when they slept on hard mats. In addition, I own a cow which I never had.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer, I felt very happy because GiveDirectly has enabled me to acquire a cow which I never had.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought a cow worth UGX 1,000,000, colthes/household goods ( mattress, bed sheets, suit case, a bed and utensils) worth UGX 475,000, bought food worth UGX 200,000, gift worth 60,000 and paid medical bills worth UGX 55,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to buy a plot of land so that I can settle with my children. I am a single parent and I believe this transfers will help me best.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when my grandmother is playing with my children. I feel loved.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money. I am a single parent with four children from different fathers. Providing for them is a big charllage to me the fact that I don't have money. I try to do all it takes to see to it that I provide for them but it is not easy.
