How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have been in position to build an iron roofed house that is currently left with fitting a door and windows. Once I shift to my new house, I expect to be relieved from the burden of renovating my grass thatched hut that I currently stay given the scarcity of grass in our community
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give me cash that enabled me buy construction materials and paying construction workers. Givedirectly has only done good on my side.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life is filled with joy and happiness. Since time immemorial I have never held this kind of money but I thank GD for the wonderful opportunity. This transfer will enable me get a home of my own because from the time my marriage failed I returned home to my parents and life has been so difficult. The land here is so small to accomodate all of us in terms of farming. I'm going to use this money to procure a piece of land which I will portion a house and the rest farming.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received this money, I was so happy because this money will change my current situation. I kept on laughing in my heart because I used to hear people talk about GD transfers but this time it was a reality in my face. I will use this money to get a plot of land That I will construct a house and leave my parent's home.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I haven't spent my transfer yet, but i'm planning to use it to acquire land since I stay at my parent's home. The land is so small for me and my brothers.

The happiest part of my day is in the noon time when I am playing with other members of the family. We like playing in door games and this relaxes my mind.

The biggest hardship that I am faced with is sickness. I have a problem with my waist and some times I am not able to work as I wish because of the pain. I have to go and do casual labour in order to find money to take care of my medical bills but it is not an easy thing to do.
