How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My husband is old now and we are living in a thatch house that is leaking. We couldn't afford to change the roof. Therefore, when I received my transfer, I decided to construct a new house zinc it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done extremely well for me by changing my living conditions. I have been empowered by Givedirectly financially which will make me build a decent house for my family and I to live in.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Since I started receiving the cash transfer, my new goal is to build a new house with zinc roof. Thanks to Give Directly that has given us the unconditional cash to change our lives.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In mine own opinion, Give Directly gives out unconditional cash transfer to the needed to assist them improved their lives, but they don't take any forms of gifts from us.

I bought two bundles of zinc, and one pack of nail to add to the other materials that will used to build our house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I got ready early that morning to go on my farm when I heard people returning from courage area in the town with the news of receiving Givedirectly transfer. I cancelled my trip to the farm, collected my phone and hurrily ran to check my phone. As I arrived, I saw the money and became to sing. As a choir member I love to sing, so I sang a song praising God and I was asking him What do I give you in return Lord. I sing the whole in my dialect. I eas so happy to have been bless Givedirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I am old with my husband who barely can't do anything. We do farming for a living. When our home started linking, there was no one to go to the bush to cut tarch since my husband is old. Before Givedirectly came , my house was linking. But with the money I received I have started to build a new house with zinc. I am so greatful I will not have to go to the bush to cut tarch anymore.

I bought zince to build my new house and Paid people to cut stakes for the construction.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"Age is catching I and my husband that he can no longer climb in palm trees to cut palm thatches for building and more to that we are living in the church's house . As such our plan for this money upon receiving it is to build zinc house for the family. "
What is the happiest part of your day?
"With all of the hardships, the most happy part of joy is seeing my husband preaching to church members Sundays and mid-weeks really toughes me."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our major challenge is finance. Money issue very hard on us that to even get food for my family really is a serious problem. Other people children are living with me they hardly go to school. "
