How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Building a new house has been my number one goal. My children school feels payment have been of challenge to me also. With the kind of poverty that I am going through, the challenges keeps increasing as day passes by. Getting on this program was of great help to me and my family. At least I can now stand to pay for my children's tuitions and start my house project that I have long planned for. Thanks to God Almighty for GiveDirectly cash transfer program. Because it puts smile on my face and makes me and my family to have a better future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Since I was born, I have never seen such thing in my life before. There have been no body who have come here in our town to encourage us and share money on us to improve our lives. But this NGO did it and is still doing it. Even those people who refused to except the transfer later accepted to be enrolled on the program because of the way the GiveDirectly workers motivated them. Looking at all these reasons and seeing the positive changes brought into our lives by GiveDirectly, there is nothing that is not done well by GiveDirectly.

Without GiveDirectly, I could not afford to achieve this goal that I have planned for. With the recent transfer just received, I was able to use portion of it pay for my children's tuitions. I also use portion of it on my house project because the recent house that I am living in is in a deplorable conditions. I need a better living place for the comfort of me and my family for the future.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes,I was thinking about making business and sending my children to school but I never had money to do so since I'm living in a remote village. As soon as I got this money all those plans started popping up and I'm forever grateful to GiveDirectly. My family and I have been finding life so hard here. However,this money is going to change my family life greatly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly have done well. I thank God for GiveDirectly because my family and I have been suffering but they've put smile on our faces. My children were not in school and I was also not doing business. But GiveDirectly transfer has change our standards of living.

When I cash out my money,I will buy goods to start my new business to enable me provide my family basic needs. I used the first transfer to register my children in school and bought all of their school materials like book bags,shoes,uniforms and copy books. My children are now in school and that brings joy to me.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy, l long bening thinking how to rebuild my broken house back and fortunately for me I received GD money with the amount of 40375, this is my first time receiving this amount of money in cash.I was so happy and appreciated GD so much for the kind comment.

For the past six months the only joy or happiness i experance is my daughter passing to the seventh grade because she's my lovely child and i want her to go to school and learn so that she can suffered
