What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a she-cow and luckly it has already given birth to a young one . I built a house for prayers since I am a church official.I also added stock onto my small retail business which is now giving me double income to the extend that I am able to cater for my family's needs comfortably .

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to plaster my house that was initially made and smeared with cow dung. I also spent some part of the transfer to pay school fees for my grandchildren in school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The difference in my daily life is that I no longer have to smear my house with mud. It is plastered and I now enjoy mopping it. Thanks to GiveDirectly for such a relief.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent most of my transfer to buy a sheep at 4,000 KES which will reproduce to provide me with more sheep. I hired a tractor to cultivate my land at a cost of 3,000 KES, paid school fees for the orphans I stay with and also bought food for my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received the money, I did not have even a single cent or food in my house. I was very happy and thanked for the blessings.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Looking for food for my family has been a big hardship for me, especially during this dry season of the year.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest at around 9 am when I praise God with sweet gospel songs and prayers. It relieves me off the heavy burden in the thoughts.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
The transfer means that the two orphaned grandchildren whom I stay with will get fees for their education. I am aging and have been struggling to get for them school fees.
