What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used all the transfer to pay my four kids school fees and the rest was spent on food. As for the house, I bought all the materials and the house is almost complete.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well by sending us cash. I can say they are next to God. The reason I said that is bcecase, nobody have given us money free with no attachment. They are the best and we thank God for blessing us through Givedirectly.
Givedirectly has done nothing wrong from the beginning till now.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Nothing new yet! I'm still focusing on building a new house for me and my family comfort.

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought one bundle of zinc for the construction of a new house that I've already started building from the first transfer received from GD. I qusrter of my transfer to pay labourers to clear the unwanted plants on the farmland to start planting/growing cocoa. The remaining money were used for the completion of my two children fees in mayland pleebo.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done extremely well in all aspects. I'm not labouring on people's farm like before. I am my own boss. My house is under construction and my farmland is almost clear. Everything is happening so fast and smoothly because of Givedirectly. So far Givedirectly have been in line and working accordingly as promised. These are the good things they have done. I've not seen any shortcomings since I was enrolled.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have a new goal. I am working on my previous plan.

I used my transfer to buy two bundles of zinc, one pack of zinc nails and four packs of wall nails.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I was suffering severely prior to Givedirectly's program. My husband had to hunt before finding food for us to eat. Some days we wouldn't have food to eat and this was difficult for me due to my pregnancy I had by then. The house I am in currently leaks a lot. During rainfall, I fold my mattress and stand by the wall until day or I can manage to put my children on the bench whilst my husband and I stand. When it rains very heavy, we beg neighbors to help us pass the night. Having my own zinc house is my biggest joy and this will make me very proud in my community. People will not condemn me like before; my life will change and respect will be added to my face and my name.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was bathing my baby when I heard my phone ringing. My husband picked it up and read a message from Givedirectly containing a huge sum of money sent to me. I left my baby in the tub and started dancing in my front yard. I was very happy because some of my friends told me that they did not receive in their town, but knowing that I was lucky to have my money sent to me brought me much happiness. My husband joined me and we danced. I even forgot that I had my baby in the tub of water. I am very grateful to Givedirectly for giving me an opportunity to change my life.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" Some challenges we are face with is getting food for my children on a daily basis. I have to go in the bush to hustle for animals and most time I'm not lucky to kill animals. "
What is the happiest part of your day?
" When my wife was pregnant few most ago she went to bath. Later I didn't hear her talking so i decided to go and check on her upon my arrival my wife had already delivered the baby on the ground I was confused I rushed to called few women that came and took her at the clinic for proper care . But nothing happened to she and the baby that alone brought so much happiness in my life. My baby girl is 2 months old."
What does receiving this money mean to you?
" Looking at the difficulties we are face with where I have to go in the bush to hunt before we get food for the family .if eligible i will invest in large cocoa planting that my family will depend on in the future. Another thing is I will enrolled my children in school ."
