What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on boosting my business which is currently doing well, bought food for the family consumption and paid school fees for my children. I also fixed steel windows and doors and purchased twenty pieces of cement hoping to plaster my house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I have managed to pay school fees, invested in my ongoing business which is currently doing well and built my own homestead.

In my opinion, what GiveDirectly did well was changing people's lives by sending unconditional cash transfer.

From my second transfer, I bought clay soil at 14,000 KES, bought 4 windows at 12,000 KES, bought steel door at 6,500 KES, bought fascia board at 4,800 KES, spent 8,000 KES to pay laborers building my house, bought building nails at 3,000 KES and the remaining 1,400 KES, I spent on food for my family.

What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to move to my own compound and i will use my upcoming lump-sum payment to tap electricity into my house, buy chairs, a bed and household utensils.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to build a new home since we are still living in our parents inlaw's home. Secondly l would wish to buy a cow to help us in future. Lastly to pay school fees for my children.

My proudest achievement is we have struggled to buy building materials for building a new home.
