How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Since I started receiving these transfers, I don't strain too much when it comes to buying food. This is because I always use a major part of my monthly transfers to buy food in bulk. Therefore in the middle of the month, I don't have to go for casual work to ensure we eat.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Currently, I do not have any new goal because I majorly use my transfers on food for my family. This is where I still want to use it on
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been using part of my transfers to buy food because that's my priority in my house. Since I started receiving money from Give Directly, I have never gone a whole day without eating. We have been eating different meals and this has impacted on our health positively. I rarely have health cases in my house.

How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
The big plan right now is to save as much as I can so that I can be able to buy a cow in the near future. It will not be an easy task for me to complete because of the little cash I get every month but I know this mission will be achievable.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life would be raising my family and educating my children. Despite being a skilled professional, I raised my bigger family without a stable job. Most of the times we would go hungry, children miss classes and even lack clothes to put on. Striving to find for the family was tough indeed.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after finishing my work. I get time to watch television, story with my children and share meals together with the family.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend my transfer to improve my house. I am going to paint and repair my house because the wall paintings are washed out and fading. This will improve the beauty of my house and raise my self prestige.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is building my permanent house. Previously, I was staying in a grass thatched house but now, I am in a big, spacious and decent house where I am secure. It is one of the best houses in the village and it makes me proud.
