How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to start building my dirt bricks house during the dry season. It is raining now so I am waiting for the dry season to begin the project.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly is doing well in giving money to poor especially when they are not expecting the money. I dont see anything they are short on. They are a good entity and the staffs are so amazing.

I am planning to buy a land and start building my house. Currently the money is in save keeping

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have any new goals, because I already had a goal before receiving the transfer, which is to build my house, by buying two bundle of zinc to start my building project. For my family and I to have a better living place.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly can help people with money, for them to pay their school fees, do business and build house. And theycan't pay back. GiveDirectly does not take water, food or anything from people.

When I withdraw my money from my mobile account, I to buy two bundle of zinc to start my building project, for my family and I to have a better living place. Because this has been one of my biggest worry.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home under a mango tree, when I saw this massage on my phone saying I have received money from GiveDirectly. I was happy, I started laughing, after few minutes, I being to make plans on how to spend my money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since I started receiving money from GiveDirectly, my life has changed. Right now I'm to do something good for my family and I. But before things were not easy. I had plans, but because of my financial status, I was unable to meet it.

What I am planning to do with my money, is that I am waiting to receive the other transfer, so I can buy zinc, nails and planks to start my building project.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" Firstly I'm greatful to God almighty for this opportunity. My wife had been engaged into fish business for years, but things when bad for us few months ago. If eligible I will invest half of the money into by wife fish business to enable us take care of our financial crisis we are face with. Secondly we use some of the money to build another house in Karwenken to relocate my family from this village to enable my children obtained a better education. "
What is the happiest part of your day?
" In November last year I went on the gold mining field to hustle and I was fortunate to earn the sum of 20000 Liberia dollars for the very first time in my life and it was the greatest joy because financial it hasn't been easy later. Secondly my family had been blessed from last year up to present none of us had experienced sickness that which I'm greatful and appreciate God almighty for his mercy upon our lives. "
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" Most especially during the rainy season the road conditions can't permit us to transport our goods to the market based on this we end up using everything . We been engaged into farming to enable us get food for the family but most time the animals kept on destroying our crops a as a result we are left with nothing to sustain the family. "
