Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In four months’ time, my new goal for my life is to venture into shoe selling business. I am trying all the best to get into some work which increases my income generation and also expands my sources of income as I prepare myself to even school fees payment for my children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I currently own a cow which I am rearing. The transfers have really helped me realize this wish which I did not think I would ever achieve. I also hope that once the cow has calved, I will be in a position to have plenty of milk both for family use and for sale. Selling would mean that my family would not be struggling on daily needs provision since we will be using the money we get from the sale of milk.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In six months’ time, I expect to have already bought my piece of land. This way, I will have moved out of my father’s land since I will have also built a house for me and my children. I have been living in my parent’s house and it is always not welcome for a lady to do so. So to avoid conflicts which may later arise in the future from my brothers I believe that I will have done the best decision ever courtesy of the transfers.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the way I am able to take care of my needs without relying on my mother. It was verry difficult for her to fend for all of us but she doesnt have to strain anymore. I used the money I receive from GD and that I get from doing casual jobs on foodstuffs for the household. Because of this, we are well fed unlike before.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different because I easily meet my daily needs using the cash I get on a monthly basis. I have been able to provide for my son especially in clothing. I am also well dressed and this makes me really happy. Providing fo for the family had also been my worry but this has been well taken care of. In my household, all my sisters and I contribute to buying food. My mother was the sole breadwinner in our household which was very overwhelming. I am glad that we are able to help her in meeting the needs of the family using the transfers we receive.

The biggest difference in my daily life is the savings that I have accumulated in my merry go round group. I will be receiving the money I have saved next month and this will be used to buy a heifer. Buying a heifer will be a good investment that will set me off well on the path to diversify my income from clothing business to livestock farming. I am so happy yo have the savings because this would not have been possible without the transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to have changed in the next six months because I will be having livestock. I will also be having a better income from the clothes business because it has now expanded.
