What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to recover the land that I had hired out some time back at 1,020,000 ugx such that I can use my land to cultivate other than hiring other people's land where by they tell you to harvest before time for harvesting since they also want to use their own garden.
I used 200,000 ugx to take back my children to school on time since they were always going to school late.
I am still reserving the balance to build for my wife a permanent kitchen such that as she cooks, she is not disturbed by the weather of heavy rains.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly has done well by giving me money which has enabled me to educate my children, recover my land that I had hired out and never thought I would ever get back.
It has however done nothing bad to my opinion.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life so different because all my property that I was planning to sell of to get money to educate my children and sustain my family is still there. If I had not received the transfer, I wound have sold most of my assets
