How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am happy to have built an iron sheet roofed house. Before, I used to sleep under a leaking grass thatched house but this money has relieved me from moving long distance in search of roofing grass.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly has done well giving me money that has enabled me build an iron sheet roofed house and acquire household items like mattresses, a bed, bed-sheets that I wouldn't have in a life time. There's nothing it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was all spent to buy building materials such as iron sheets, cement, bricks, sand to construct a house, bought a window and a door as well.
