What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy iron sheets, timber and nails which I have used to build my house and the remaining, I spent to buy plastic chairs which are easily movable
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I managed to send my children to school and they have not been sent home for school fees, I have solar delight and no longer uses kerosene lamp. All this would not have been possible without the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly changed the lives of the less privileged in the community through cash transfers which has enabled them to buy and do what they could not do before due to their financial status. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing a solar panel to use in lighting my home. Initially I used a kerosene lamp that costed me a lot. I admired having a solar panel but could not afford due to shortage of funds. Apart from that, I purchased construction materials and kept aside to be used in construction once the final transfer is sent. My current house is in a very poor condition and need a quick replacement.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have felt a very difference in my life since I started receiving transfers from give directly. I have physically grown as compared to previously when I could weigh less than 30kg.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy two sacks of corn and food stuffs for my family.We sometimes used to sleep on empty stomach,so i decided to buy food for my family.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to buy land that i will use to build a new home.Where i stay now is frequently affected by floods so i will purchase a peace of land in a safe place.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Our first plan is to use part of the transfer to buy a piece of land elsewhere and put up a house, because this area is normally flooded during the rainy season and we are forced to move away. Secondly, we intend to use another part of the transfer to buy three cows as an investment for our family. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to plough our farms and grow maize for food security.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am very proud of is, having planted sixty eight seedlings of trees that we intend to sell in future, to earn some income for the family use.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we have faced is, providing food for our family due to inadequate source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings, when I am doing my night prayers before I surrender to bed.
