How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was in dire need of finances to complete my house project. Hence, I bought building materials such as zinc, zinc nails and mixed nails for the completion of my new house. My life has become better within the last couple of months. Thanks to GD for their major role played in transforming my life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Firstly, I am very much grateful to have benefited from this program. This Organization has been very honest in delivering cash to poor people like us. In my opinion, I see nothing that GiveDirectly is doing wrongly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my transfer from GiveDirectly, I bought 3 bundles of zinc ($33,000LD), zinc nails and 1 carton of mixed nails for the completion of my new house. Furthermore, I used the balance portion of my transfer as transportation and compensation for contractors working on my house project.

I'm planning to complete my house project with this my second transfer. I just bought zinc and cement to finish with my house. I even spent little amount on planks and stick. I bought some provision for the house. The last little one that left with me now, I'm planning to start a small business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is really doing great things for me and my family. Since I they started giving money in my village my life has changed.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I want build a house and start a business. I'm a widow and my children are far away from me. My grandchildren and i depends on farming. If i start a business, it will helpful to us. I will be able to fully provide for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought me joy and happiness in the past six are, i have life and good health and my grandchildren are healthy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main problem I'm face with right now is, i don't have money. I don't have mattress, cutlass and other household items. I want to buy these items but i don't have money.
