What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on building a decent spacious three roomed house. I bought sofa set seats and a table. I fixed two steel windows and a steel door.I bought iron sheets and built a kitchen .I also bought a bag and a half of maize and two goats.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am living in a decent spacious three roomed house which has no challenges as compared to the previous house that I was staying in which needed frequent repairs. I also have enough food to feed on as opposed to before when I needed to hustle most of the times to make ends meat for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by assisting the poorest households through the means of money that changed the living standards of most the recipients since they have built houses and paid school fees for their children.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the second transfer to buy building materials as am planning to build a spacious comfortable house since l am staying in a very small house that does not accommodate me with my family memebers. I also spent the transfer to buy solar for lighting my house and this will save me from spending money to buy paraffin for lighting my house. The remaining balance l spent to buy 1 sack of maize for my consumption and food for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, l no long spent money to buy paraffin for lighting my house as before, l spent that money to buy other basic needs in the house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy school uniforms for my children to replace the torn ones they had. I then bought two bags of maize for food and two sheep to keep in the farm.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money I was very happy and shouted with joy. I had very little food in the house at the time and this was a welcome relief.
