How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved in that, I live healthy and in better a house. In the past, I had no source of income given my age and therefore, I couldn't meet my basic needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly according to me jas done me good my relieving me from the burden of poverty through yhe unconditional cash transfer that I received. On the other hand, there is nothing bad that it has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to renovate my old iron roofed house, buy a mattress, bedsheets, medicine and food. I still some money I saved for future use.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I'm living each day more happy than before. Simply because I settled most of my pressing needs such as food with this transfer. Before, I was too poor to meet all my needs.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was too happy when I received the money in my phone. I had alot of needs to meet but with no money to settle them, so I felt very relieved on receiving this transfer.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent Ugx 530000 of my first transfer on feeding and buying utensils. I also paid Ugx 70000 and Ugx 300000 for my medical bills and the debt I had. Finally, I loaned out Ugx 800000 to my child.

Receiving this money means i will renovate my family house and also buy food plus seeds to boost my household livelihood.

My happiest part of the day is in the afternoon while sharing stories with my children and friends.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship in my life is lack of enough support for sustaining my family welfare especially feeding since am a widowed mother.
