What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on completion of a house that I had started constructing with the previous transfers. The house is now habitable and I'm happy I have a decent house. Part of the transfer I used to enroll my child in preschool because he had attained school age.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
We had the plans of building a new house because our current house is too squeezed that we can't fit in it so when received the second transfer I bought building materials that we are planning to use in building once we receive the third transfer. We couldn't build because my spouse gave birth so I had to use some of the money on paying for her hospital bills and up keep too.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Gd does well by giving the beneficiaries opportunity to decide on what to do with the money and they are very transparent too. I feel Gd should retain their regional offices in order to give those who are not so enlightened on phone issues to pay them a visit in the offices instead of calling.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different that it would have been if I didn't receive the money in that I'm sure by now I wouldn't have made such a big step of purchasing building materials because I do not have a stable source of income. I'm sure of having a bigger house and not the ten by ten feet grass thatch house I currently have.
