Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have bought most of the needed construction materials(cement, iron sheets and bricks) that I intend to use for constructing an iron roofed house which will not necessitate annual renovation like my current hut. Prior to receiving this cash transfer, I didn't have hope of constructing an iron roofed house because I couldn't afford construction materials.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I became very happy the moment I received my money because I knew that it will help me construct an iron roofed house.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to purchase 8 pieces of iron sheets, 4 bags of cement and 3000 bricks that I intend to use for constructing an iron roofed house. In addition, I hired an acre of land, mattress, clothes and foodstuffs.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to build permanent iron-roofed house for my family. This will help me solve the issue of costs incured in maintaining a grass thatched house. Therefore I will be saving such money for sorting out some family issues like providing food, buying clothes.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moments I normally realise it in the afternoon hours after lunch. I feel satisfied and my brain gets tune to doing other domestic work like fetching water.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is poverty. This is occurring because I do not have where to farm but rather hire. Iam therefore producing harvest which is not enough to cater for the needs of the family members.
